Appreciate

It is very easy to dismiss those who are in your corner. We naturally take things for granted. Those of us able to walk do not have the same appreciation for legs as say someone in a wheelchair. Often the actions of a person who has had your back for so long can become like the legs of a mobile person. You have always had them therefore; it diminishes appreciation for them as it is just expected. On the opposite end, it is just as easy for the people having you back to become conditioned to have your back without need for reciprocity. This creates an unhealthy dynamic whereas over time, the receiver cannot recognize the crutch and becomes dependent and the giver can become resentful for lack of appreciate. In these times 'fuck the world' and 'Jesus will fix it' are the usual rhetoric. We are misguided and have an anti-social/only God got my back culture so it is important to remember those ones truly in your corner. Equally as important we must also not allow the ones we do care for to take advantage of the love.

The Smart Hoe

We are in a time where ratchetness is glorified, being a thot is proper protocol and twerking is the social norm. Classless behavior has always existed but not until this age has it come to be the consciousness of the majority. I recently heard a female say "Bitch I'm a muthafucking queen and you will respect me as such" and it's hilarious right up until the moment you realize she actually believes that herself. This modern woman has become under educated and over confident. Our relationships will continue to suffer until she regains the proper perspective.

Negroes and Magic

The hard truth is Negroes are too magical. We cannot make progress, get on code nor create an agenda because we are simply too magical. Eighty plus percent of black people are Christian and that directly correlates to the lack of black progress in America. We can make the argument that our fixation with Jesus has and will continue to be the demise of black America. MLK Jr. was hit in the face with a brick for asking for equality and our solution was to pray harder. Black man is killed by the police on camera, cops are not charged and our solution is to pray harder. Ironically, white boy kills nine people in a church while they were praying and our solution was to pray harder. In fact, you can do pretty much anything you want to a black Christian without worry because they are just going to "let go and let God". A black person can find the ten dollars he left in his pants from the last time he hit the club and say thank you Jesus as if Jesus magically made that money appear in a time of need. It is this kind of logic that creates the environment of docility in black America... "God got us". We literally believe a sky man is going to wave a wand and fix the condition when he is ready. After all "he is an on-time God". A good question from anyone paying any attention is in a capitalistic society what even the need for prayer is. If you want police reform that is political. If you want equality that is financially withholding resources until change is made. If you want to find more money in your pants simply leave money in clothes you normally wear and forget about it. It's not magic it's not God its common sense. We could have changed our position long ago. The sooner we figure out it's not magic the sooner black lives will actually start to matter.

Sides Chosen

Is there a such thing as an unbiased black person in this age? Everyone has chosen a side meanwhile every other race has used this division to their benefit causing mass devastation among us. As our conditions are indeed extreme so goes the consciousness of the team we decide to join. These subcultures of monolith may soon cause permanent destruction unless we can learn to get on the same page. There is no debate that we need mass consciousness shift however we cannot seem to even start a conversation due to the divide. Religious folk want Jesus to fix it, the pro-blacks want us to migrate back to Africa, the bourgeois want us to pull ourselves up by our own bootstraps and the lost ones say white supremacy is to much to overcome so they have simply given up. None of these things provides solution or asylum they push us further under the thumb of control. Economics, what to teach our youth, politics and media are all foundational in the structure of any community but we cannot talk economics if the lost ones donate all their dollars to Arab and white owned corporations. We cannot talk politics if the Christians just want Jesus to fix it, and we cannot talk policy if the pro-blacks just want us to go back to Africa. At what point?

Cooning and Buffoonning

There seems to be a lot of confusion about what cooning is. The below video should provide clarification. There is an extreme amount of tap dancing and cooning these days especially from black pastors (Trump)... Unfortunately we are too sleep and divided for it too recognize it.

It's Bigger than Hip-Hop

In an information age how ironic, the music has gotten less informative. 

It is intentional how we avoid the connection between minorities being shot down in the streets and the violence in the music... Chicken or the egg right? Either these degenerates (on both sides) are being spawn by the culture or we are creating this environment out of ignorance. The reality no one really wants to deal with is white cops can no longer properly police minorities in this age. Barring those living under a rock, it is impossible to escape the never-ending propaganda campaign to demonize minorities that being said how else can they see us besides savages. In addition, sadly we supply the soundtrack to our own genocide. 

Music's reach is undeniable. From commoners to presidents to royalty, white black and everything in between everyone loves the hip-hop culture. Question is with such a powerful voice that touches the masses why is the underbelly of our culture the only music being promoted? Furthermore, why is hip-hop the only genre that allows this? Every genre of music has a sub culture of music interest that range anywhere from devil worship to rape and pillaging the world but those songs never get any promotion. Instead, they promote songs about human rights, empowerment and love. 

Maybe it is a conspiracy or maybe it is the after effect of slavery and undiagnosed mental illness that makes us use our greatest weapon of influence to degrade our culture and devastate our progress. Imagine instead of violence, drugs and promiscuity hip hop promoted group economics, self-esteem and upward mobility we could make smart (S.U.A.V.E.) the new cool instead of an "acting white" thing #theworldneedssuave. 

Ultimately, hip-hop is one thing that could actually change the culture. Of course that would mean artist as well as listener would have to take responsibility and that being said maybe it is all just wishful thinking... Either way I believe we have come to the crossroads

Who's to Blame

Too often we hear the same old arguments that have been recycled for decades now. The black man isn't pulling his weight. The black man is no good. The black man needs to pull himself up by his bootstraps. The destruction of the black community is due to the absence of the black man. The black woman is queen and can do no wrong. This video provides a honest alternative to the narrative. Certainly an unpopular stance nonetheless one that needs recognition.
